CPFR Presentation Overview

MeadWestvaco Consumer and Office Products in Sidney, NY (formerly AT-A-GLANCE) is a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of calendars and dated planning products. MeadWestvaco distributes its highly seasonal products to national retailers and distributors who take on considerable risk of overstocks in this dated category. To support their customers and ensure maximum value to the supply chain, MeadWestvaco has participated in various levels of collaborative forecasting, planning and replenishment for over ten years. From the use of a sophisticated proprietary model to conduct vendor-managed replenishment at the store/SKU level, to warehouse visits by manufacturer’s reps, MeadWestvaco conducts customer forecasting, replenishment and inventory management.

Jim Lyall and Pat Rogan will present their perspectives on CPFR in general and discuss MeadWestvaco’s experience in some detail in a presentation that will blend theory with practice.
