Professional Development Meetings - PDMs

What is a PDM?

The Tappan Zee Chapter holds monthly Professional Development Meetings (PDM) during the 2nd week of each month from September through June at the Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown, New York. No PDMs are held in January or February. These dinner meetings are frequently held jointly with ISM-7 Counties and CSCMP - NYCONN.

Our meetings start at 5:30 pm with networking, the featured speaker presentation at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner at approximately 7:00 pm. The presentation is free and the dinner is optional.

Why Attend?

At each PDM a guest speaker provides insight into a current operations management topic. This becomes your opportunity to stay ahead of the competition by learning about new and emerging industry trends and how to improve operational performance. In addition, the meetings offer an opportunity to meet and network with other operations management professionals that are eager to grow and expand their knowledge.

Our chapter’s mission is to elevate the competitive advantage and continuing effectiveness of our members and their companies by effectively expanding their knowledge of best practices and providing a forum for the exchange of ideas.
