CPIM - Certified Production and Inventory Management

Since 1973, the CPIM program has educated more than 90,000 manufacturing professionals on essential terminology, concepts, and strategies related to demand management, procurement and supplier planning, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, performance measurements, supplier relationships, quality control, and continuous improvement.

To Earn CPIM Certification

You earn certification by passing an examination for each of the five modules:

• Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM)
• Master Planning of Resources (MPR)
• Detailed Scheduling and Planning (DSP)
• Execution and Control of Operations (ECO)
• Strategic Management of Resources (SMR).

Tappan Zee Offers Certification Classes

To aid you in preparing for you certification exams, the APICS Tappan Zee offers certification courses. The course schedule for the current year is listed below. The course for each module consists of three full-day, instructor-led sessions, and the full complement of courses are offered three times during the year to offer participants a number of opportunities to attend.

All classes are held at Bloomfield College, which is located off of the Garden State Parkway at exit 148. All classes begin at 8:00am and end at approximately 4:30pm.
