Certification
Why Choose APICS
Certification Programs?
APICS certification programs open the door to job
opportunities and your career advancement.
According to a recent APICS Salary Survey,
respondents with CPIM or CIRM credential earned
15 percent to 23 percent more than non-certified
professionals. In addition, more and more
companies require APICS certification.
The CPIM and CIRM programs specialize in
results-oriented education, which means that you
will walk away with more than the professional
credential that you have earned. You will learn
to apply what you have learned in your own job,
giving you enhanced credibility and recognition
as a valued resource within your company.
College Credit
The American Council on Education (ACE) and The
New York State Board of Regents recommend
awarding college credit for successful completion
of exams in both the CPIM CPIM and CIRM CIRM programs.
College faculty review teams, chosen based on
subject-matter expertise, evaluated each exam to
determine college-level equivalency.
Participating colleges and universities have
agreed to consider credit recommendations for
both the CPIM and CIRM exams because of the
integrity of the ACE and New York State Board of
Regents examination review process. Please refer
to APICS Society website for more details .
Veterans
APICS
CPIM and CIRM exams qualify for test fees
reimbursement by the Department of Veterans
Affairs (VA) under the licensing and
certification benefit of the G.I. Bill. For
additional information on the certification
benefit, visit www.gibill.va.gov and link to the
Licensing and Certification page, call the VA at
(888) 442-4551, or contact APICS Customer Support
at (800) 444-APICS (2742) or (703) 354-8851.
Certification Maintenance
Congratulations on achieving CPIM or CFPIM
certification. Certification Maintenance was
designed to preserve the integrity of this
prestigious designation.
The APICS Certification Maintenance program
prepares you for the challenges ahead by
preserving the significance of your hard-earned
certification.
To keep your CPIM or CFPIM status current and
avoid suspension of your credentials, you must
demonstrate that you have maintained your
certification through the APICS Certification
