learning and its certification programs: CPIM (Certified in Production
and Inventory Planning) and CIRM (Certified in Integrated Resource Management).

The Tappan Zee Chapter
of APICS primarily serves the metropolitan
New York area; Westchester and Rockland Counties
and New York City. The Chapters
Mission is to be the premier provider of
educational and networking services for Operations Management professionals. Our goal is to
help you and your business operate more
efficiently and to improve the bottom line.
To support these goals the chapter sponsors
nine monthly Professional Development Meetings (PDMs) per year. This
meeting might comprise of a speaker presenting a topic relevant
to the Operations Management body of knowledge or a local company
hosting a plant tour. Speaker presentations are open to
the public. To encourage networking amongst our peers, the
chapter invites attendees to stay for dinner for a nominal fee.
The chapter also sponsors seminars. For more information

The Chapter also offers
courses to help prepare for the APICS
certification exams, CPIM and CIRM. We offer courses
for the community as well as work
with individual companies to provide in-house
certification preparation training courses, which
can be customized to your companys
